The Monkey Mountain adventure – an experience for all the family!
A universe, live, on the Affenberg – “Monkey Mountain”! On Monkey Mountain, you’re not just an outsider looking in on an animal world – you are right there in the midst of it all, with no barriers! Up close and personal in the midst of a universe of 145 Japanese macaques. As you take your tour with our primate researchers, you will learn a lot about the life of monkeys, their needs and their behavior. You will be able to observe 145 macaques doing exactly the same things they would if they were in the wild: they fight, fall in love, they raise young – and if you are lucky, you will be right there to see how our monkeys also like to swim and even dive. The cost of your admission ticket insures that our monkeys lead the same kinds of lives they would out in nature. And that’s something we wish to thank you for even now. Dates & Times “Monkey Mountain” is open daily from April 1st until October 31st between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
